Grab your Cat in the Hat and Fox in Socks, it’s Dr. Seuss week at Busy Little Hands! Our Pre-K classes have been having fun celebrating all things Dr. Seuss with crazy hats, hairstyles, and socks this week. On Tuesday, we even served green eggs and ham for lunch! We’ve also been busy making Seussical art projects and listening to silly stories and rhymes.
Dr. Seuss has taught us so many lessons such as trying new things (Green Eggs and Ham), keeping a promise (Horton Hatches the Egg), and taking care of our planet (The Lorax.) His books are simple, whimsical and full of creative rhyming words that bolster reading! What’s your favorite Dr. Seuss story? It’s okay to have more than one! Share them with your child and enjoy the adventure!
